TME / 5th Engineer selection process Educational qualification: 01. A first class BE or BTech in Mechanical Engineering followed by a Indian DGS approved 12 mth presea training ashore. or 10 + 2 followed by a 3 / 4 year DGS approved Graduate Marine
Engineering training program ashore and obtained a
first class grade in the final
year. Age Criteria The maximum age limit for selection is 23 years. Other requirements: 1. The candidate should have atleast 50 % of marks in English in any of the following Examination (Xth, XIIth, Degree). 2. Must be medically fit as per the DG Shipping Medical fitness rules. 3. Candidates up to 25 years may be considered on a case by case basis. 4. Completed the 4 basic STCW courses ( Basic Fire fighting, PST, First Aid & PSSR). 5. Completed the Oil Tanker familiarisation course and obtained a DCE OIL endorsement.. 6. Valid Passport & Indian CDC. 7. A valid Yellow fever vaccination certificate. If you think you fulfill the above then proceed as follows 1. Send your brief biodata having your basic info by email to rls@wallem.com . 2. Your biodata will be scrutinised and if acceptable to us, you will be asked to appear for the WALLEM Engine cadet entrance interview / written test in Mumbai. 3. Ensure that you get all your original documents at the time of interview. 4. All successful candidates will be notified of their results on the same day or latest by the next day. NOTE 1. No candidate can appear more than once each year for the company's written exam. 2. The company's decision on selection will be binding and cannot be challenged. 3. Any false declaration or documents will result in the candidate being disqualified. |
